Ripe, almost bruised orchard fruits like apple and baked pear come through on a medium, but thick aromatic profile.
Subtle oak notes compliment rather than takeover the freshness of the fruit. Candied lemon and chamomile dance around. The palate is full and on the low end of medium sweetness, lovely acid balance.
Grown on our estate vineyards in the Texas High Plains AVA at 3,500′ elevation, where sandy soils, warm days, and cool nights help shape vibrant fruit, balanced structure, and natural acidity.
Spicy potato poppers, baked ziti alfredo, lobster bisque with some heat, stuffed and baked Gulf oysters, and chicken with mushroom cream sauce
