A brief history
Kalasi Cellars is more than just a winery — we’re a proudly woman-led vineyard, wine bar, and event venue located in the heart of Texas wine country. Nestled on over 16 scenic acres just outside of downtown Fredericksburg, our estate is both a tranquil retreat and a premier tourist attraction along the famed Wine Road 290.
Our story begins in the Texas High Plains, where we operate Narra Vineyards — a 140-acre estate vineyard that supplies 100% of the fruit for our wines. As a fully estate-grown winery, every bottle of Kalasi Cellars wine is crafted using grapes grown exclusively on our land. Winemaker Nikhila Narra Davis, one of the few female grower-winemakers in the region, works alongside her husband Greg to ensure each vintage is the best expression of the grapes possible.
At Kalasi Cellars, we’re redefining what it means to be a Texas winery. We were the first in the state to invest in an advanced optical sorter — a high-tech innovation typically found only in world-renowned wineries — allowing us to raise the bar for wine quality across Texas.
