Nose
The 2023 vintage is characterized by delicate aromas of sweet pea, fresh basil, peach puree, and tropical fruits like dried pineapple and mango popsicle are all enveloped in pretty white flower petal aromas.
Palate
The palate is bone dry and bursts with ripe fruit and a balancing tartness.
Growing Conditions
The Riesling grapes from Twin T Vineyards are framed on a 13-acre plot established in 2007 by Dusty and Mike Timmons. The vineyard is located in Terry County in the Texas high Plains AVA, a flat plain where over half of the grapes in the state are sourced. Their soil is six feet of layers to caliche, with sandy top soil, a thick layer of cooling clay, and then caliche crust.
