Founded by Robert and Lydia Nida, Pebble Rock Cellars originated with a penguin, a proposal, and a rock. When Gentoo penguins find their mates, they present them with a pebble for their egg nest. When Robert proposed to Lydia, he decided to mimic Lydia’s favorite animal, so he hid her engagement ring in a rock and presented it to her like a pebble.
