This wine’s intensity stems from sun-exposed rows and deep-rooted vines in dense clay over sandstone. Low irrigation and slow ripening yield creates bold, concentrated fruit ideal for barrel aging.

Winemaking

A deep purple pour edged in mahogany hints at the boldness within this Bourbon Barrel Alicante Bouschet. Blackberry compote, sweet tobacco, and creamy vanilla leap from the glass, followed by a palate brimming with rich fruit and bourbon-laced spice. The wine gets its intensity from sun-drenched, west-facing rows and old vines rooted in dense clay over sandstone, where slow ripening concentrates every flavor. Bourbon barrel aging adds warmth and depth, resulting in a showstopper red that’s bold, lush, and unforgettable.
