Nose

A nose of floral rose petal, peach, watermelon and strawberry.

Palate

The mouth feel is light, crisp and refreshing, full of bright stone fruit, red flowers, strawberry and citrus pith from the balanced acidity.

Winemaking

This rose breaks new ground for Perissos, being the product of “intentional” or limited skin maceration rose wine making – we have reserved an entire run of fruit for rose alone and the product is breathtaking.

Appearance

High Plains Mourvedre grapes yield a light salmon colored wine

Food Pairing

Fruit and flower notes linger on the finish, making this a great accompaniment for appetizer charcuterie, white meats, fresh-water fish like trout and a variety of salads and vegetarian terrines.
