The mouthfeel confirms the intense aromatics with full yet rounded tannins and balancing bright acidity.  The finish is long and chocolatey.

Growing Conditions

Grown in decomposed granite gravel soils at 900 ft of elevation.

Winemaking

Petite Sirah is a Rhone classic, a deep, rich yet very drinkable variety that deserves to be better known by wine drinkers.  

Aging

Two years of oak aging adding vanilla and baking spice notes.

Appearance

A deep purple ruby color.

A perfect compliment for grilled steaks, rich beef braises and aged hard cheeses.
