Nose

Dark plum and blackberry with violet, cocoa, warm baking spice, graphite, cedar, and toasted oak.

Palate

Full-bodied and structured with firm tannins and concentrated dark fruit; blackberry, plum, and cocoa finish long and powerful.

Growing Conditions

Grown on our estate vineyards in the Texas High Plains AVA at 3,500′ elevation, where warm days and cool nights allow Verdot to develop bright fruit, balanced structure, and natural acidity.

Food Pairing

Grilled steak, braised short ribs, lamb chops, mushroom dishes, and aged cheddar. Serve on the cool end of room temperature and decant.
