Nose
Blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum accented with hints of graphite, cedar, vanilla, and a touch of dried herbs.
Palate
Full-bodied and structured, with layers of blackberry, cassis, and dark cherry framed by notes of cedar, tobacco, and spice. Firm yet polished tannins lead to a long, elegant finish.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested fruit was carefully cold-soaked before fermentation to enhance color and aromatic intensity. A slow fermentation with neutral yeast preserved the purity of the varietal character. The wine was then matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, where the tannins softened and elegant layers of spice and toasted oak integrated seamlessly with the dark fruit.
Appearance
Dark garnet
Food Pairing
Ideal with grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, and hearty stews. Pairs beautifully with aged cheeses and rich, herb-driven dishes.
