Nose
Purple plum, prune, tar, strong coffee, oak char, meaty savory tones, chestnut, and warm spice.
Palate
Medium-plus in body with thick texture and gripping tannins; dark fruit and roasted oak character carry through a structured finish.
Growing Conditions
Grown on our estate vineyards in the Texas High Plains AVA at 3,500′ elevation, where sandy soils, warm days, and cool nights help shape vibrant fruit, balanced structure, and natural acidity.
Food Pairing
Duck, braised meats, roasted mushrooms, prime rib, and Gorgonzola. Serve at cellar temperature after double decanting.
